DOES ANY OF THIS SOUND LIKE YOU?
No judgments here, I’ve definitely been there before. That’s why I created this reboot program so you don’t have to do any of this on your own.
You’re tired of missing out on opportunities because your website isn’t ready

You’re embarrassed to share your website with others because it’s a mess
The mere idea of writing about yourself or promoting your work makes you cringe
Selecting what work to include in your portfolio is a pain in the ass you don’t want to do alone
Talking about your rates and getting paid for your work is a sore subject for you
You want more control over how you present your work beyond the 1x1 frames of social media
You want your site to pop, but paying for a customized website is not in the cards right now
You want to get your site up easily without having to learn how to code
👇 IF YES, KEEP READING 👇
Confidently own your story as an creative/ artist and express your style on your website
Proudly showcase your work how it deserves to be seen / heard
End procrastination and get your portfolio DONE
Put your story together in bow
Stop 👉👉👉 cuz your website clearly communicates your worth
Your website is a portal into your world. Are you ready to invite others into your web?
Why now? What about all the changes going on?
Because if there’s one thing that we do know for certain is that change is inevitable, nothing lasts forever— not even this pandemic or economic chaos. What we’ve seen throughout history is that one of our superpowers as humans is our remarkable ability to adapt with resilience. So we can choose to ignore that things will go back to being the same, or we can pivot and prepare for the changes ahead. I’ll be here for those who are preparing to pivot and move forward together.
Luck is what happens when preparation meets opportunity.

WHY DO YOU NEED A PORTFOLIO WEBSITE?
Do you know how many people are looking for your creative services? They need to be able to see your work first though!
Your work as an artist lives beyond the 1x1 of an Instagram Square. Your audience and clients want to experience you 360’
Being an artist and creative is about being a master storyteller. And a website is your blank canvas to showing your style and command of storytelling.
Because you are a professional, not a hobbyist.
Make it easy for you to stand out from the rest of the world with your perspective
Because you’re sick of holding yourself back from promoting your work
Because you got passed up on a job because you didn’t have a website/ portfolio to show in time
You’ve lost out on gigs because you didn’t have a portfolio

“Working with Genevieve has not only given me the confidence to share my work but to share it how I want. When I ask clients why they decided to work with me, they tell me it’s because they love what I stand for and love my style.”
— Stefaniya Vey, filmmaker + screenwriter, Sundance Resident

THIS REBOOT IS FOR ✅:
CREATIVE PROFESSIONALS + ARTISTS WHO WANT TO SELL THEIR WORK / SERVICES
THOSE WHO ARE “ALL IN” AND COMMITTED TO SHOWING UP
BELIEVERS WHO ARE WILLING TO INVEST IN THEMSELVES
THIS REBOOT IS NOT FOR THOSE ❌
Who do not have any examples of work yet. This is a program to help creatives showcase their work, so having some work examples will be key.
Who want to learn how to code or learn web development. We will be focused on building the key components of building a strong portfolio website, including story layout, structure and flow of your website, but we will not be teaching step by step coding.
Looking for a course to go at their own pace. This is NOT a pre-recorded online course. This is a live program meant for you to not only learn but also bring the lessons to life in real time.
Dislike working in a group setting. There will be live group discussions and feedback throughout the programs.
THIS IS NOT AN ONLINE COURSE
THIS IS A LIVE REBOOT WITH REAL-TIME FACE-TO-FACE INTERACTION
I loved working with Genevieve. She helped bring out a different side of me and empowered me to think about what would resonate most with my audience. I highly recommend her creative services to anyone looking to transform their brand!

Meet your Course Guide // Genevieve Kim
I created this course because I want every creative artist to thrive and get paid for what their services. Creatives bring so much to this world, and if I can help at least one artist, I will have succeeded.
In 2016 I left my Fortune 500 six-figure job for good to pursue a full-time career as a photographer + storyteller. When I left, I had never sold a print, had less than 500 followers on Instagram, had only worked a handful of paid gigs that totaled less than $600, never went to school for photography or art (all completely self-taught), and my hobbyist website looked like a random hodgepodge of photographs. Talk about either taking a complete leap of faith or being straight up delusional— as my parents thought.) But I followed what many teachers before have said, “Use what you have.”
So I took what I did have, which was my insatiable curiosity of photography, love of stories, passion and a background in management consulting that taught me all about pitching to clients. All these things combined gave me my unique edge and confidence to present myself as a professional. And within the first year of launching my professional website:
I sold my first photography print for $500
I was invited to do a solo show at a gallery
I landed my first five-figure client project
I signed my first client on retainer
This eventually led to me building a multi six-figure media production company (Triangleflash Studio), with consistently booking 5-figure client engagements and hand-selecting the projects I want.
What made the difference for me was I rebooted my website consistently over the years, I knew I had a website that I was proud of and could confidently send to gallerists, editors, collaborators, potential clients and others who would see my work.
Now you may be saying, well Genevieve not everyone has a digital marketing background, and I’m here to give you the nuts and bolts of what you need to do to pass along all this information so that you can get your story out there. I am here to save you the unnecessary student loan debt and hours of figuring all that so you can have a thriving studio/ business.
Also, I am not just a business person trying to teach. I have years of teaching under my belt. As I was living the struggling artist life, I was an elementary school teacher for grades K-8, and I was a writing teacher for junior high and high school students. I LOVE TEACHING.
Most importantly, I don’t want you to feel like you’re doing this alone because I already did. I self-taught and spent hours of doubting, revising alone, and figuring things out by myself. Let me tell you, that is one of the most inefficient uses of your time. That’s why I’m going to be here to help you.
Working with Genevieve is so much fun, and she knows her shit.

FAQs
Q: Why did you make this a live course and why don’t you have a recording?
Because this is the first time I am doing this event online, and I want to make sure I get your real-time feedback so I can make this course the best experience for you. On top of that, I want you to know that I am just as invested as you are in showing up and making sure that you get the results you want.
Q: I’m a (fill in the blank) , will this work for me?
This program is for anyone who is a creative professional or artist who’s primary work is to create stories. This includes, but is not limited to:
Creative Professionals // Creative Directors | Producers | Writers | Designers
Visual Artists // Photographers | Filmmakers | Painters | Sculptors | Illustrators
Performing Artists // Musicians | Speakers | Dancers | Actors | Recording Artists
Q: How long will I have access to the content? Will the course expire?
You will have unlimited access to all the templates and program materials. This course is not a recorded online course. It is a LIVE face-to-face course. So we will not be delivering recordings. However, your private 1-1 feedback sessions with Genevieve are recorded and a copy will be delivered for you to keep.
Q: My time is limited, how much time will I need to set aside each week for the content?
Each class is three hours, and we will meet three times a week. In addition there are optional office hours twice a week, an hour each. Outside of the modules, there will be about an hour of work you’ll be doing in order to prep for the next class. This includes journaling, organizing work samples, etc so that you are not scrambling during work sessions. Realistically you can expect ~12-15 hours of work per week.
Q. Is this program going to make me buy expensive software?
There is no software that you need to buy. I do recommend that you have access to at least one of the following: Adobe Photoshop, Sketch, or Google Slides.
Q. Web designing is not my expertise. How much tech do I need to know?
Me too. I know nothing about coding, but was able to build dozens of sites. So will you. If you’ve already built a website portfolio of some kind, then you’re more than well-equipped. This is not meant to be a web developer or coding course, so you don’t need any technical knowledge. You can get any site off the ground with website builders like Squarespace, Wix, Wordpress, Showit that all have templates you can customize without having any coding background.
Q. Will it be worth it?
That all depends. If you show up for every session, complete all the prep work and do our 1-1 sessions, I am certain you will get tremendous value. But ultimately, I cannot do that for you. I can only encourage you to take this time to invest in yourself and your work because I KNOW YOU ARE WORTH IT.
Q. I still have other questions. Can I ask you?
Please do! Send me your questions here.
